Programming Internship 2016

Uforia offers a one-year, paid internship program taking place on-site in the company’s studio facilities in Seattle. We’re very serious about programming, and we created this initiative to help young programmers develop the skills necessary for success in the game industry. We seek programmers who have talent and a high degree of motivation, and only lack one thing: work experience.
Features of the Program
  • Small cohort. Work and learn with a tight-knit team of motivated engineers.
  • Professional environment. Hone your skills on-site in the Uforia studios, working alongside top industry professionals in a dedicated workspace.
  • Meaningful work. You’ll be tasked with a variety of programming assignments that contribute to the success of the company.
  • Hourly stipend. Compensation is a $14 per hour stipend.
  • Regular work hours. Work Monday through Friday during usual business hours for the duration of the year-long program.
  • Idyllic location in the Pacific Northwest. Enrollees are expected to relocate to the Seattle, WA area at their own expense.
  • Demonstrable experience with C++
  • Highly motivated, self-starting, creative thinker
  • Reliably able to create good quality, performance-minded code
  • Experience writing memory-efficient algorithms
  • Experience working with networking APIs
  • Experience writing file streaming system
  • Experience porting code
This is not an internship-to-hire program. We’re not guaranteeing jobs to any intern in the program, but you will emerge from the program with an arsenal of professional skills, an incredible portfolio, and an invaluable experience under your belt.
Code Test
All enrollees are required to take our Programming Internship Code Test.
If a candidate fails to complete the test, they will be unable to be considered for the position.
